Maine State Nordic Skiing Championship
Dear Nordic Family,
Welcome to the Fort Kent Outdoor Center (FKOC) for the 2023 Maine Principals Association state nordic ski championships hosted by the Fort Kent Outdoor Center.
We wish all teams the best of luck during the competition. We can assure you that our volunteers will do their best to ensure the competitions are fair and accurate. We will make every effort to give you the best experience possible with whatever conditions Mother Nature offers.

Updated: *Due to the predicted cold temperatures and incoming snow for Thursday, the schedule for Thursday’s freestyle competition at Fort Kent for the MPA Class A/B/C Nordic Championships has been altered.
The format will now be a 5K individual start with Class A B and C all together. Racers will start in the order of their finish from the classical race. Team scores will still be based on combined times as in a pursuit.
The boys will start at 10:30am and the girls will start at 11:30am. This will allow teams to depart earlier and be in warmer conditions.
The awards will be held in the Fort Kent high school gym for all three classes about one hour after results are posted. * The freestyle start list will be posted Wednesday night. 10:30am: Boys Freestyle 11:30am: Girls Freestyle
